Water Bottle Challenge

Alright, ladies and gentlemen! Drum roll, please! *cue drums, and then the audience hears a big crash on stage, behind the curtains* haha Some challenges have a rough start, but I’m going into this one with positive thoughts.

I have always been pretty bad at drinking water and staying properly hydrated, which the headache & migraine monsters love haunting me with this knowledge. I’m ready to show them my battle armor, and that will be my new gallon water bottle! It has arrived! In my favorite color, green, of course, and it has these wonderful time stamps to help me accomplish my goal each day. For this challenge, I’m going to start with an end goal of one week, and see how it goes.

Let’s Do This!

Day 1!

CRUSHED IT! A couple times throughout the day I was actually drinking water ahead of schedule. Crazy how I was flying through my gallon of water. In years past, it would have taken me maybe a few days to drink that much water. First day was a success!

Day 2!

Today was a slower day. I had to keep my water bottle in line of sight to stay on top of my water intake, but I DID IT! Today we had victory!

Day 3!

Oh no! I woke up late, and had to play catch up with my water intake. Don’t not fear! I will be victorious!

Day 4 & Day 5!

Yikes! These days were a battle with a very steep hill to climb. Many times with these challenges they say that as time goes on, it’s easier to drink the large amount of water, but this challenge seems to love being an opposite of most.

Day 6 & Day 7!

Finished strong! The water bottle was conquered and my thirst was quenched immensely.

Overall Experience:

I am glad that I challenged myself to drinking one gallon of water each day, and it truly showed me how used I had gotten to my body being dehydrated. I had more energy and was sleeping more soundly during this challenge. I am grateful I went through this experience, and continue a daily challenge of drinking my fill to empty with my one gallon water bottle.
