There are so many different ways today that we all stay connected. Social media is one of the biggest route we take. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat, and Tumblr are just a few. I was recently introduced to an app called Yik Yak, where it is essentially anonymous tweeting, and people can either “up it” [similar to liking something on Facebook] or “down it,” which is basically a “dislike.”
I downloaded the free app this morning, and have already gotten a good amount of “up it”s for two things I have written before the clock stroke noon. It’s a great way to be uplifted throughout the day by simply sharing your thoughts anonymously. Here is their Twitter account: YikYakApp
Moving on to another social media medium is Buzzfeed. I follow them on Facebook, and sometimes feel like I learn more useful information than in some of my college classes. With being on WordPress, us bloggers have the ability to see the location of our viewers. It is fascinating to see viewers that are outside of the United States, since that is where I live. In the past week, I have had viewers from Peru and Russia. This brings me back to Buzzfeed. I stumbled upon a video that discusses the shapes and sizes of countries. Before I let you experience this cool informative video, I want to thank all my viewers and followers for giving me the chance to express my thoughts and share things I find fascinating or amusing. Enjoy!
